The Trésor bra has therefore taken the time to be carefully designed before presenting itself to you.
Treasure realized in the box “Noir de Jais”.
What I will remember about Trésor is not only a new pattern.
It is especially a beautiful meeting with one of you.
I will not name her, she will recognize herself 😉
The two of us had started talking about the Diamond bra pattern.
I had noticed that she was a perfectionist, and I liked that a lot.
I was working on the Trésor bra pattern. I asked her if she would be willing to be part of the testing team. She was very helpful, and as we talked, we talked about more than just sewing…
So here I am dedicating this high and STRONG Trésor bra to her!
Patterns available from 80B to 125H
Trésor is a bra that has boning and underwire.
It is accompanied by a very detailed explicative sheet (more than 40 pages, not counting the method sheets).
During the test period, several testers did not want to wear a boning or underwire. Trésor was therefore tested on a daily basis without underwire, and the test was conclusive. Of course, it still offers a better support if you use boning and underwires.
To help you differentiate between Diamant and Trésor: the cup rises lower in the middle front. The underwires are not the same: those of Trésor are shorter.
Compared to Diamant, the cup is also different at the level of the lace: this one is slightly less long in order to be able to fix the strap on a fabric part (and not of lace as for Diamant).
The side of the bonnet of Treasure has a rounded shape to accommodate delicately the lace band :
So the Trésor cup is slightly less enveloping than the Diamant cup. It is a little more “sexy” and low cut.
And of course, the big difference, the real difference, you understood it, is the back!
When the Bohème bra came out, many of you asked me for a nice rounded back in a model adapted to generous breasts.
I must admit that I love this back, I can’t get enough of it!
Several testers wanted to try this back to see if the support was adequate, and they were delighted to discover that it was indeed there!
In the download folder, you will find an “adaptation” method sheet: it will allow you to easily modify your pattern to make it unique according to your preferences, and of course your body shape.
Here, Treasure was sewn using the “Guardian Angel” box
For those who do not like lace, there is also a variant “normal back”.
The straps are assembled in such a way as to obtain the best support (i.e. they are sewn “along” the back band):
Here is another version, this time sewn using the “Cloud of Tenderness” set:
For this variant, the back is without lace:
For the “normal back” version, the height of the hook and eye varies according to the size. This allows to adjust to the morphology of each. All this is, of course, detailed in the explanations of the pattern.
And if the height of the hook and eye proposed for your size in the pattern does not suit you, you will find how to change it in the method sheet “Adaptation”.
I remind you that the fabrics of the boxes are exclusive to Étoffe Malicieuse. They are woven and printed in France.

That why, the folder you will download contains several documents: an interactive instructions booklet illustrated with numerous clear diagrams (to find out more, click HERE) The pattern in A4/US letter format that you can print directly at home.
The pattern is given with AND without seam allowances. Thanks to the layer system, you can choose!

The patterns are layered which allow you to choose which sizes you want to print.

There is also a short video that will show you how to use layers is available on the Youtube channel: Étoffe Malicieuse channel
A “printing the pattern” helper
This part will tell you how to use the layers, how to set up your printer, which pages to print according to the chosen variant…
A “Stitches and settings” section
This part of the explanations will detail the different stitches used in lingerie sewing.
As the construction progresses, you will also find the small tag giving you indications on which stitch to use.
A “Fabric elasticity” method sheet
It’s not always easy to find your way around stretchy fabrics… with this document, you will be able to easily classify your fabrics and find out which one is the most suitable for sewing Éternité.
Contrary to popular belief, all you need is a simple sewing machine with a zig-zag stitch.
The construction instructions have been written as clearly as possible. They will guide you step by step with the help of numerous clear diagrams to enable even total beginners to sew their bras.
For this pattern, beginners in bra sewing were called in, as well as seamstresses more used to sewing lingerie.
Many thanks to my superb team of testers who are always there when I offer them a new challenge!
Remember, each month I choose on Instagram one of your photos shared with the #etoffemalicieuse and offer a free pattern to the lucky one 😉
