Plaisir 3-in-1 panties pattern

Hi there!

A comfortable panty, REALLY comfortable, does it tempt you?

Plaisir, it’s 3 panties designs in 1 pattern.

3 syles, all absolutely feminine, but very soft and pleasant to wear:
no contact with lace, wider sides, everything is thought for you to spend a day filled with pleasure (= “plaisir” in French… pun intended 😉 )!

For the record, I started sewing by making quilts.

My mother-in-law used to make little things and that made me want to try. So I had collected scraps of fabric from all over the place (because originally, we didn’t buy fabric for quilting: we used whatever we had on hand).

And then I started sewing… a bedspread. I always start my projects with “simple” things 😉

It took me 4 years to sew my bedspread, I started it by hand and finished it on the sewing machine I received as a Christmas gift.

Anyway… my bedspread is made up of lots of different squares, and in those squares there’s one called “log cabin”.

For the first version of the Plaisir panties, I have adapted this log cabin quilt pattern for lingerie:

This idea had been on my mind for quite some time!

It took me several tries to find the right angle, the right width of the panels… But finally, here it is:

I sewed my “log cabin” lingerie quilt with mesh that I had in stock, impossible to remember where it came from. However, know that at Mamzelle Fourmi you will find a nice choice of mesh and tulle that will fit perfectly for Plaisir.

We needed a small flat photo with a touch of nature 😉

The second version of Plaisir is all about curve.

The lace part is lined: it is not in direct contact with the skin. This was part of my requirements for this new pattern: femininity, originality, but especially comfort for all skin sensibilities!

The curves are highlighted with an elastic piping. This one was kindly offered to me by Sandra from Mamzelle Fourmi.

The waist is medium height, neither too high nor too low. It will of course depend on your morphology, but know (I ramble!) that the model has been drafted for maximum comfort.

The following picture allows you to see that the sides are a little wider than for a standard panty.

The last variation of Plaisir has fun with the mesh. The central gathers give movement to the front of the panty:

And on the sides, the gathering turns into pleats:

And the small touch of lace comes to dynamize the whole:

This latest version of Plaisir can also be sewn without any lace or mesh.

You will then get a basic panties. A good foundation that will be easy to transform later. It’s the 4th hidden version in a way!

These three versions of the Plaisir panties have been designed in the same way. They can easily became the bottoms of a nice lingerie set!
