I am happy to be back with you to unveil my brand new pattern!

Caresse, the high-waisted panties

Sewing pattern for young women and women

Available from 32 (12 years old) to 50 AND also from 46 au 64 !

Very trendy, the high waisted panty is worn these days!

Caresse is very comfortable and will be a good basic to sew your underwear.

For each variant, the waist is located at the level of the navel: it is intended for a good support, and you will not have the back in the air!

Caresse is offered in several variants of back and front that you can combine in multiple ways:

• The basic panty very useful for beginners, but also for experienced sewers who can transform it according to their desires.

• The panty with vertical cut: this cut can allow you to use different fabrics on the front: why not a little lace for more femininity? Or simply a little piping to highlight the cut? Or a piece of ribbon? Feel free to have fun!

• The panty with horizontal cut: pretty lace pieces on the sides for a subtle transparency and a bit of fantasy! This variant will be very flirtatious!

• For each variant, you can choose 3 different backs: the basic back, the back with drop and the back with triangle.

To sew the basic version, I chose a light pink jersey covered with a lace:

The version with a vertical cut was sewn in a very thin lycra color ecru. The central part is a Calais lace.

To emphasize the cut, the edges of the lace are highlighted with purple elastic FOE:

The back version with drop offers a nice little opening. It is not very difficult to make, but it does require some attention to detail:

Finally, here is the version with horizontal cutting.

You can have fun using different fabrics, transparent or not, different colors or not…

The back version with triangle brings a little lightness and allows you to make a recall of the fabrics used on the front:

Sewing level

Contrary to what you might think, to sew underwear you only need a simple sewing machine with a zig-zag stitch (or even better, an elastic stitch). The construction was thought for all those who don’t have a serger: the seam allowances of the crotch are all hidden! You will get a panty worthy of a professional seamstress!

The construction instructions have been written as clearly as possible. They will guide you step by step with the help of many computerized diagrams to allow beginners to sew their first panty.

Supplies

The different versions of Caresse are designed to be sewn in a stretch fabric. You have many possibilities: light lycra, elastic tulle, cotton jersey, stretch lace…

The fabric should have about 50% elasticity in both directions.

The lace of the variant with horizontal cut must be elastic.

Also provide a scrap of cotton jersey for the lining of the crotch.
